I’M KELSEY VAN HORN &
I’M A GRAPHIC DESIGNER
At the moment–
I just finished a thru-hike of the 2190.9 mile long Appalachian Trail that runs from Georgia to Maine, and I am now back in my home state of Pennsylvania. However, whether you are around the corner or around the world, I would love to get in touch!
To sum up myself in three points, I would say–
1. I find comfort in taking risks.
2. I have a strong work ethic, I am dedicated to deadlines, and I am a conceptual thinker who will listen to anyone’s needs to achieve their vision or create an entirely new one for them.
3. My interests include (but are definitely not limited to) rock climbing, health + fitness, home-cooked food, illustration, hiking with my dog Bear, printmaking, art history, and adventure.
I graduated from Marywood University–
(Scranton, Pa.) in May 2017 with my BFA in Graphic Design. Therefore, I am familiar with the latest trends and programs. I spend most of my time in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Yet, I am proficient in Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS3, AfterEffects, Keynote, Powerpoint, Animate (formerly Flash), Adobe Xd, WordPress, Divi, Wix, and Muse. Alongside my digital skills, I also enjoy Hand Lettering, Illustration, Embroidery, Collage, and Printmaking.
If I do not know how to do something, I love to learn, and I will do my best to figure it out.
